Lemuel C. B. Jordan served in Company H, 13th Texas Dismounted Cavalry, C.S.A. He was either killed in the war or died on the way home from the war. According to the book "Spartan Band" by Thomas Reid, L. C. Jordan was captured at the Battle of Pleasant Hill. This Battle was April 9, 1864.
