Salvadore (Sam) Ciaccio was called to eternal life by our Lord Sunday afternoon, August 30, 2015. Sam was born November 23, 1932 to Giuseppe (Joseph) and Lena Siragusa Ciaccio in Denison, Texas. He married the love of his life Darlene Vernell Miller on January 25, 1956. Sam worked many years for Wayne Emory Construction. Sam leaves behind his beloved son, Anthony Ciaccio of Denison, daughter, Lisa Ann Ciaccio of Denison, daughter-in-law, Karen Curry of Denison, grandsons, Jonathan Curry and wife, Felicia of Denton, Darius Curry of Denison, Ryan Johnson and wife, Stevie of Denison, and granddaughter, Tonya Houston and husband, Bendrick of Dallas, eleven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers, George, Phillip, John, Nick, Bonnie and sisters, Carmen Hood, Josephine Hutchman and Georgia Schmidt. Family visitation will be held at Fisher Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 Wednesday September 2, 2015. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday September 3, 2015 at Fisher Funeral Home followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery in Denison. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jonathan Curry, Darius Curry, Ryan Johnson, nephews, Joe Schmidt, Joe Ciaccio and Adam Ciaccio. Honorary pallbearer is Mike Ciaccio. Condolences may be registered online at www.fisherfh.com Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison.
