Nathan R. Bennett

Nathan R. Bennett, 80 yrs old, passed away on August 26, 2015 due to a short illness. Born May 27, 1935 in Seville, FL. The son of Eddie and Viola Bennett, who preceded him in
death.

He was drafted in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Afterwards he was a lifelong cowboy. He worked in law enforcement in Crescent City, FL. Also was a security guard. He worked in the fern and cows. Horses, hunting, and fishing were his favorite hobbies.

He had a son, Nathan Bennett, Jr. and siblings who also preceded him in death, Sadie Mew, Louise Harrison, Wilma Tollison, James Bennett, Floyd Bennett, and Lawrence Bennett, all of Seville, FL.

He has one surviving sister Eveyln Strickland of Thomasville, GA and many nieces and nephew along with numerous amounts of friends.

services will be held Saturday, August 29th at 10:00 a.m. at the Harris Cemetery in Seville, FL. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Halifax Health Hospice.
