JOHN MONICA
Rites for John Monica, 83, of 143 Wyoming Street, who died st Onondaga General Hospital Thursday afternoon, will he conducted at 10 A.M. Saturday at the Fairchild & Mech Funeral Home, 500 West Onondaga Street, by Amos Phipps, superintendent of the Rescue Mission. Burial will be In Rochester. A resident of Syracuse three years, Mr. Monica was a retired carpenter. He was born at St. Agnes, Quebec and spent the greater part of his life at North Bangor, where he was employed by the New York Central Railroad. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Paul Relles; four sons, George, Edward. Ernest and Fred Monica, all of Syracuse; 23 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
