Anna was born Dec. 27, 1926 in Colfax, a daughter of James and Ada Kerber Meyer.
She married Glenn Greene on Jan. 8, 1951 in Tupelo, Mississippi. He preceded her in death on July 20, 1972.
Anna later married Earl Kaufman on Oct. 21, 1980 in Holly Springs, Mississippi. He survives.
Anna is further survived by three sons, Ronald (Debra) Greene, Daniel (Sue) Greene and Kenneth Greene; a stepdaughter, Tena (Robert) Chapman; two stepsons, Gary (Claudia) Kaufman and Lonne (Marcy) Kaufman; a sister, Dorothy; two brothers, Albert (Marge) Meyer and Frank (Marcella) Meyer; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Glenn Greene; a brother, Bernard; four sisters, Marcella, Edith, Florence and Eileen and a brother-in-law, Gerald.
She grew up in Colfax and, after graduating from high school, she took a job with the Funk Seed Co. as a secretary. Anna later worked at the Fashion Shop in Gibson City as a salesperson for many years. She also served on the election board for West Township, was a volunteer with the BroMenn Auxilliary, Prairie Aviation Museum and at Crossroads in downtown Bloomington.
Anna was very active with the Home Extension program earning certifications as a Master Weaver and Crocheter. She loved to dance, fish and spend time in the outdoors, Anna was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. Anna and her husband, Earl, traveled extensively throughout the world and she enjoyed her time "on the road" tremendously.
While raising her children on the farm, Anna was very involved with the day-to-day activities of farming.
