SPRINGDALE - Essie Levada Mustain, 81, of Springdale died Oct. 3, 1997, at Northwest Arkansas Rehabilitation Hospital in Fayetteville. She was born July 10, 1916, in Heber Springs to Armoty and Georgia House. She was a homemaker, a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and had lived in the area 32 years, moving from Newport. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Mustain.

Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Canard and Ann Barnes, both of Springdale; one sister, Alice McCustion of Byhalia, Miss four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sisco Chapel of Springdale with the Rev. Bill Danner officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eric Canard, Chris Barnes, Randy Vaughan, Randy C. Vaughan, Brain Edwards and Gene Artman.

The family will be present at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. today.
