Michael (Mick) Pazour age 70, died Friday February 8, 2008 at the Jones Regional Medical Center, Anamosa following a brief illness.
Services will be held 10:00a.m. Wednesday February 13, 2008 at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa. Rev. Carl Manternach will officiate at the service. Surviving are his children Stephanie (Bob) Butschi of Cedar Rapids, and James (Erin) Pazour of Robins; five grandchildren Avery, Brenna, and Dolan Pazour, and Justin and Andrew Butschi. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Jackie Juehring and three brothers Peter G., Paul, and Thomas.
Michael Anton Pazour was born January 17, 1938 in Anamosa, Iowa. He was the son of Peter A. and Mildred Allen Pazour. Mick was a graduate of Anamosa High School in 1956. He was an auto mechanic by trade for 49 years. He was the owner and operator of the Pazour Auto Service in Anamosa. Mick had a wonderful life and told many friends and customers When they dig the hole and put me in, I am now retired.
