Mr. John Mitchell Cason, 37 of Patterson, passed away early Sunday afternoon, August 23, 2015, at Mayo Health Systems – Waycross.
Born in Jesup, GA on October 11, 1977, he had lived in Pierce County all of his life. Mr. Cason worked in the underground pipe industry for many years before following in his late father’s footsteps by working for Allen & Graham. He was an operator/engineer and was a very hard worker. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 474. Mr. Cason loved to cook and enjoyed landscaping.
He was a son of the late Connie Ray Cason.
Survivors include his three sons, Garrett Cason, Weston Cason, and Brayden Cason all of Blackshear; his mother, Linda O’Berry Cason of Patterson; his sister, Michelle Cason of Patterson; his brother and sister-in-law, Michael & Julie Cason of Patterson; his niece and nephews, James Earl Sapp, Dalton Ray Cason, Michael Allen Cason, Tristin Aspinwall, and Mylie Leighanne Cason; and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Cason will be held Saturday morning, August 29, 2015, at 11: o’clock from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Mill Creek Cemetery.
