Buck Roland Boggess, age 93, a resident of Fort Worth, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015, at an Irving care center.
Buck was born Oct. 4, 1921, in Fort Worth. He was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1980. He was a 70-year member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and was a member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; his daughter, Pamela; half sister, Marie Thompson Newkirk; and his parents. Survivors: His son, Jeff Boggess of Coppell; grandson, Matthew Boggess of Albuquerque, N.M.; and granddaughter, Blakely Boggess of Ames, Iowa.
