He worked for Cook Construction and the State of Iowa before retiring. He enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. He also like flower and vegetable gardening.
Julian passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the age of 84.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Billie Marie Burns, nephews, Michael Allen Burns and Charles David Burns, and brothers-in-law, Russell Griffin and Charles DeWayne Burns.
Graveside committal service with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the VA Hospital in loving memory of Julian.
