Betty was the d/o the late Emory and Della Barnett Cottrell. She was predeceased by her children, Rickey Chadwick and Vicki Lynn Chadwick; stepsons, Charles, Carl, Eddie, Bobby and James Chadwick; and siblings, Vessie, Tressie, Orville, Gladys, Marie, Ruth, Roy and Archie. She made her home in Lewisburg, WV with her daughter and husband. She traveled extensively across the country, and saw many exciting and wonderful places. She was a member of Cherry Point Baptist Church in Havelock, NC, and Hughes Creek Community Church, Hughes Creek, WV. She was a faithful volunteer and lifetime member of the VFW in Havelock. As a wonderful and giving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, one always felt love and caring anytime visiting with her. She loved her church and gospel music and her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, with all her heart.
