From the New Albany Daily Register - Tuesday evening, July 24, 1900 -
On Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Blanche Queen (Henry) Goodman, Blunk Knob, Franklin Township, Mrs. Mary C. Johnson was found dead in bed. Coroner Starr held an inquest and decided that her death resulted from heart disease. Her age was 55 years and she leaves several children.
