Funeral services for Rebecca Lee Dugan will be held on Thursday, August 27th, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Reed-Culver Chapel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26th, 2015 at Reed-Culver from noon until 6:00 PM. Rebecca will be interred at Cookson-Proctor Cemetery near Cookson, OK. Rebecca Lee Dugan was born on January 31st, 1979, in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Mitchell and Linda Faye (Davis) Dugan. She grew up with three brothers and two sisters, Stephanie, Betty, Mitchell Jr., Tyler and Chris and attended school in Tahlequah.

Rebecca was always outgoing and playful. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed time heckling her family. She was a free spirit and had her own ideas on how she would live her life.

She traveled to Maryland and converted to Judaism. In turn, she took great interest in the Jewish people and the history and plights of their people. She loved to listen to music and was especially fond of Tori Amos. She kept company with her three feline companions, Divine, Sissy, and Bubba. She loved her family and was always ready to spend time with them, sharing a meal or enjoying a visit.

Rebecca passed from this life on August 22nd, 2015 at her home in Tahlequah, OK. She was 36 years old. She will be missed by her many family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her Mother, Father, her grandmother, Raye Betty Davis and grandparents Jess and Paralee Dugan.

Rebecca is survived by her brothers and sisters, Stephanie Dugan of North Carolina, Betty Kindred of Tahlequah, OK, Mitchell Dugan and wife Jeanna of Park Hill, OK, Tyler Mincher of Edmond, OK, and Chris Allison of Texas. She leaves her grandparents, Earl Davis and wife Lela of Taft, OK, and her aunt Pam Lewis and husband Danny Bob of Park Hill, OK, as well as many aunts, uncles, and a host of friends and loved ones.
