Mrs. Booth was retired from the Lawrence County Board of Education. After retiring, she traveled often and was involved with the Town Creek Senior Center. She was a fan of both Hazlewood and Alabama football teams. She was the oldest member and a Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church, Town Creek, where she held her membership. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Town Creek.
She is survived by her son, Billy "Chuck" Booth; her daughter, Jackie Booth Cross; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Cross, Jacob Sprinkle, Jonah Sprinkle, Todd Turney, Jordan Dean and Sawyer Hanback.
Honorary pallbearers will be former students of Mrs. Booth.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Town Creek.
