"Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday in Belden-Sexton-Sumpter Chapel at 5th and Oak for Jacob A. Hittle, 74, who died Monday night in the Leavenworth County Convalescent Infirmary, where he had lived for several years.
Mr. Hittle was born on Nov. 11, 1899, in Leavenworth County. He attended schools at Leavenworth and farmed for a few years. He later worked for the Railroad Company at Kansas City, Mo., before retiring several years ago.
Survivors include two sons, a daughter, and six sisters, Mrs. James L. Jackson of RR 3, Mrs. Marguerite Cain and Mrs. Lydia Steinbach, both of Sarcoxie, Mo., Mrs. Barbara Keith of Oklahoma, Mrs. William T. Cain of Diamond, Mo., and Mrs. Dorothy Niebarger of McLouth.
Friends may call at the chapel in the afternoon Wednesday.
Rev. John Hodge of Easton will officiate.
The burial will be in the Sunset Memory Gardens. "
