MINNIE C. BALBAUGH
LEIPSIC – Mrs. Minnie C. Balbaugh, 95, of Rt. 2, was dead on arrival at St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima, 12:15 a.m. Tuesday following a short illness.
Born Aug, 24, 1889, in Leipsic, she was a daughter of Frank and Anna Schuller Heyne, On Nov. 26, 1896, she married Frank Balbaugh, who died Sept. 13, 1930.
Surviving are four sons, Alphonse of Glandorf, Harry of Toledo, Robert and Raymond, both of here; two daughters, Mrs. Anna C. Houdeshell of Toledo and Mrs. Frances Lause of Leipsic; 19 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City, and its Altar Rosary Society.
Mass of the Resurrection will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the church, Rev. Louis Huffman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Bliss-Peoples Funeral Home where the rosary service will be conducted at 8:30 tonight.
