Graveside services for Elizabeth Eileen Allen DuBose, age 89, of Meehan, will be Wednesday at 2pm in Goodwater Cemetery. Rev. Bill Webb and Rev. Paul Harris will officiate.
Mrs. DuBose passed away Sunday in Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a lifelong member of Goodwater Baptist Church and a homemaker.
For many years Eileen was crippled in stature and blind but now she walks upright and can see her Savior and loved ones face to face.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Faye DuBose Warren, grandchildren Beth Pierce (Dan) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Don Alan Warren (Lynn) of Duluth, GA, Rosie Plowman (Eric) of Collinsville, great grandchildren Audrey Pierce, Shelby Plowman and Cameron Plowman and her sister in law Gloria Allen. Preceding her in death were her husband James Wilbourn DuBose, parents Luther and Callie Hayes Allen and brother Howard Allen.
