Funeral services for Bobbie Jeane McNair, 79, Pryor, are Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, 10 a.m., at Stephens Memorial Chapel. Pastor Robbie Pierce will officiate and burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Pryor. Services are entrusted to Stephens Memorial Chapel.

McNair was born March 6, 1927 in Tulsa. She died July 30, 2006.

McNair had been a lifetime resident of Pryor. She attended school in Pryor and graduated from Pryor High School. She worked at Midwest Carbide for 25 years as a secretary and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She had been a 20 year member of Cole FCE (Family, Community, Education) Extension Club and had held numerous offices within the club and was a very active member. She enjoyed the monthly dinners the club would put on, the fund raisers and was very active in the Cole Community. McNair liked to garden, she was a member of the Mayes County Genealogy Society, and enjoyed going on cruises.

McNair is survived by one son Gary McNair and wife Judy of Kingfisher; two grandsons Jeff McNair and wife Krista and Monty McNair all of Kingfisher; two great-grandchildren and two nieces.
