FORMER PRINTING SHOP OWNER DIES-Clarence Emmett Stewart, 62, formerly associated with the Sun Printing & Publishing Co. of which he was superintendent prior to 1923 died yesterday at his home in Santa Ana. He had been ill for several months, his illness having necessitated retirement from business in 1944. Mr. Stewart was a native of Anderson, Ind. and came to San Bernardino in 1909. He established a printing business with W. S. Coach and
later became associated with the Sun Printing & Publishing Co. In 1923 he moved to Santa Ana, where he established the Santa Ana Printing Co.
He was a charter member of the San Bernardino Lions club and the Elks, in which he held a lifetime membership.
Surviving are his wife, Alberta A. Stewart, Santa Ana, two sons Capt. Mark F. Stewart, Army, and Keith G. Stewart, Santa Ana and a brother, Charles Stewart,
San Bernardino.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. from the H. R. Brown mortuary.Internment will be made 1:15 p.m. the same day in Mountain View cemetery, San Bernardino.
