Christy Lynn Grandy passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Garfield County Hospital in Pomeroy, WA.
She was born to Jim and Barbara (Alderman) Moore on Jan. 25, 1958, in Walla Walla. She attended school in Milton-Freewater, OR, graduating in 1976. She married Dan Grandy on Jan. 22, 1982. They lived in Connecticut, Key West and Fort Lauderdale, FL where they worked for Boater's World before moving to Pomeroy. She worked as dietary aide at Garfield County Hospital at the time of her death.
She had a love for monkeys and all of the seasons and holidays. She loved crafting and decorating. She loved living in Florida and vacationing in Hawaii. She is survived by her loving husband, Danny at their home in Pomeroy; stepdaughter Michelle Grandy of Bellingham; parents Ivan and Barbara Bingman of Pomeroy; mother in law Jean Grandy of Everett; sister in law Barbara Grandy of Everett; sister Connie Niebel (Ron) of Clarkston; stepbrother Bob Bingman (Teresa) of Pomeroy; stepsister Melody Jones (Steve) of Walla Walla; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her father, James Moore; and brother, Jerry Moore.
Christy is loved and missed by all of us. A private memorial service will be held at Cypress Lawn in Everett.
