Carlotta was warm, gracious, and well liked by her relatives and many friends. She was active in the San Antonio Restaurant Association Ladies Auxiliary from the 1950s through the 1970s, the Jolly Dollar Dance Club and the Domino Dollies.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clifford F. Thompson, Sr., brother, Herman A. Wolf and sister, Theresa Van Horn. She is survived by her sister Loretta Cunningham, her three children and their spouses: Terry (and Wayne) Carter, Cliff (and Paulette) Thompson, Judy (and Jim) Lincoln; seven grandchildren: Cameron Carter, Shannon Carter Helmi, Tracy Carter Land, Erica Thompson Bochantin, Brigette Thompson, Jason Lincoln, and Justin Lincoln; many great-grandchildren: Cole and Callen Carter, Emmy, Seona, Inara, and Maren Helmi, Vincent and Josie Land, Lindsay and Brandon Bochantin, and Mara Grace Lincoln, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin on Friday October 31 at 1 PM with Mass to be celebrated at 2 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul or the Seton Fund (Sr. Gertrude Endowment) 1201 W. 38 th St., Austin, Tx. 78705.
