WAYNESBORO, Miss.-- Funeral services for Scott Anderson Lindsey, 69, were scheduled for 3 p.m. today
at West Shady Grove Baptist Church, burial to be in
the church cemetery.Lindsey, a retired farmer of Beat 4, died Friday in the Wayne General Hospital.Son of the late Charles F.Lindsey, he was a member of the Wayne County Post of the American Legion and a member of West Shady grove Baptist church.He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Artie Mae Lindsey,Beat 4; a daughter, Mrs. Grady Daniels, Hattiesburg; a son, Coleman Lindsey, Beat4,7grandchildren; 3 greatgrandchildren; a sister, Victoria Randall, Petal. Freeman Funeral Home of Waynesboro is in charge ofarrangements.

NOTE: Scott Lindsey was born to Kizar Isabella Waller and unknown father, before her marriage to Charles F. Lindsey.Uncle Scott, went by Scott Anderson Waller until he joined the Navy, then he changed his name to Scott Anderson Lindsey. My grandmother (Vickey, his 1/2 sister) always said her mother had told her his father was a Smith.
