PNEUMONIA FATAL TO MRS. MARIE JOHNSON

Mrs. Mary Johnson, wife of William Johnson, died late Thursday night at their home on the Mitt Graves farm west of Beloit following an illness of 10 days with pneumonia. Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Otto Armstrong, two sisters, Mrs. Florence Tyler and Mrs. Ida Morrison both of Beloit, and four brothers, John, Adrian, Dolph and George Markley, Beloit. She had been a prominent and popular member of the Court of Honor.

Mrs. Johnson was born 42 years ago in Iowa but had been a resident of Beloit and vicinity for more than 20 years.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Johnson's son, Otto Armstrong, 1040 N. Sherwood drive,. The Rev. C. F. Spray, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, will officiate. Interment will be in Oakwood cemetery.
