Mary Magdalene Adams, age 89, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015. Graveside service will be held 2:00pm Monday, November 2nd at Black Creek Cemetery, directed by Belk Funeral Home.
Born in Chesterfield County, Mary is the daughter of the late Robert Lide Adams, and the late Luna Deas Adams. She worked for the Hartsville Cotton Mill, and then in a theater in Charleston, and as a waitress. She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.
Mary is survived by a niece and many great-nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Black Creek Cemetery, and other times at 484 Anderson Dr. in Darlington.
