Mary L. Allen, 96, of Good Samaritan Center died today, Jan. 20, at 2:12 a.m. in St. Joseph Hospital.
She was born Jan. 20, 1885, at Victoria, Ill., to John and Aleda [sic] Johnson Hanson. She was a member of Willard Street United Methodist Church. She married Albin H. Allen, Dec. 20, 1910, at Galesburg, Ill. He died in 1961.
Survivors: daughters Maurine Hamilton of Ottumwa and Ruth Yencsik of Rockford, Ill., four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Arrangements: pending at Johnson Funeral Chapel.
Memorials: to her church.
Visitation: after noon Wednesday.
