Gladys M. Alleman, 82, of 100 Mount Allen Drive, Upper Allen Twp., formerly of Upper Paxton Twp., died Saturday in Messiah Village. She was retired from Kinney Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Millersburg, its Busy Bee Sunday School Class and OES Glen Chapter 425. She was the widow of Fred R. Alleman Sr. Surviving are a son, Fred II of Camp Hill; a daughter, Thelma Geist of Millersburg; a daughter, Betty Vanderhill of Wooster, Ohio; two sisters, Marie Alesio of Reading and Alice Reed of Bethlehem; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at her church. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg.
Viewing will be from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoover Funeral Home, Millersburg, and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 2001 N.
