Daughter of Norman James Dotey and Peggy Jean (Akridge) Dotey.

Wife of Spencer Kenny Cowley, married June 6, 1964. They had three children: Spencer Kenny, Jr. (1965), Leann Jean (1967) and Aaron Mead Cowley (1970).

Linda died of a heart attack and was laid to rest on August 20, 2015.

Linda's mother passed on August 3, 2012 in Hemet, California and the disposition of her cremains is not known.
