Horace Babcock, b. Apr 1802 (gravestone age: 85 years, 6 months). d. 24 Oct. 1887. He was the son of Paul Babcock and Mabel Hatch. He married Sally Reynolds, b. 1805. d. April 15, 1876.
"Horace Babcock lived for many years at the end of a spur road running east from the old Charles H. Lyman farm, south of Jericho Village."
The History of Jericho, Vermont states they had only two children who died young but does not mention them by name. These two children are most definitely Henry Babcock and Hiram Babcock, both shown as children of H & S.R. Babcock on their gravestones.
