Visitation is 10 A.M. Thursday at Clay Hill Church of God of Liberty Ms. until service there at noon, with Pastor Allen Ray Touchstone Officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cain was born August 28, 1940, in Centerville Ms. She is survived by her husband Rayford Cain; two daughters, Antoinette Nunnery and husband Gene, and Skylar Nickens and husband Jonathan; four grandchildren, Nathaniel Nickens, Miranda Nunnery, Madison Nickens, and Sarah Nunnery. She also survived by one sister, Cynthia Lofton and husband Bobby Lofton. She is preceded n death by her first husband David W. Touchstone, and her parents Steve Van Bass and Bernice Whittington Bass.
Marie loved her family and her church more than anything else in this world. She was a woman of prayer and fasting. She served as Sunday School Superintendent for many years, as well as serving as a Sunday school teacher. She was responsive to the needs of the elderly and those less fortunate. She loved helping missionaries and traveling. She will be missed tremendously by her husband, children, and church family, as well as her friends and relatives.
