Mr. Acevedo is preceded in death by his loving wife, Crisanta Acevedo.
Jesus is survived by his eight children, Eliot (Lucrecia+) Acevedo, Albar (Emma) Acevedo, Eliamar Acevedo, Leticia Ramirez, Maricela Acevedo (Guadalupe R. Garcia), Yadira (Roberto) Rodriguez, Diana Acevedo, and Gina (James) Crixell; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; four brothers; and one sister.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 1:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be conducted at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass will be held Monday, September 29, 2014 at 11:00a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church (1914 Barnard Rd.), followed by committal service at Buena Vista Burial Park.
