Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday for Otto Louis Acker, 51, R.R. 7, Union Township, Whitley County, who died at 11:35 pm Tuesday in the Whitley County Hospital. He was admitted following a heart attack Tuesday morning at his home. A former carrier here, he was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, in Columbia City. Survivors include his wife, Louisa; two sons, Louis C. of Chicago, and Everett, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Madden and Mrs. Alfred H. Roberts, both of Columbia City; two brothers, Rev. Julius Acker of Hammond and Fredrick W. Acker of Fort Wayne; a sister, Miss Loretta Acker of Columbia City; and a grandson. Friends may call at the Hollingsworth Memorial Chapel in Columbia City until noon Friday. Rev. Paul Schwan will conduct services in the Zion Church. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery here. The family requests that memorials be given to the church building fund.
