James Edward Shepard, 64, of Rush Springs, OK., passed away Wednesday. Mr. Shepard was a member of the National Auctioneers Association, licensed in both Arkansas and Missouri. He was also a member of the USTRC, Quails Unlimited and Farm Bureau, and was involved in team penning and team roping competitions. He loved spending time with his family and going on trail rides with his two granddaughters. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marlow, OK.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, August 17, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation was held Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
