She was born to John Quincy Morse and Margaret Elizabeth Bennett Morse.

Winterset Iowa in 1909, they lived in Iowa from 1890 too about 1897 when they moved to Lynch Nebraska where they lived from 1897 to 1906 before coming to Rapid City about 1910. They lived in Meade County for a time.
Loucette was the mother of 15 children two of them born after they came to South Dakota, four preceded her in death. Five sons and six daughers suvive her, the closest to her was Theodore who lived at 711 Minnilusa ST.
Her sons are Jay in Dewey SD, Lewis in Pringle SD, Boyd in Diamond Springs CA, and Ben Morse in Hamilton MT.
Daughters Lake Munsil in Norwood MASS, Agnes Norgaard in Tyler MN, Bessie Youngren in Souix Falls, Thora Irene Davis in Pasadena CA, Iva:Mrs Ira Burris in Alahmbra CA and Susan Nelson in Martin SD.
She was predeceased by a daughter Myrtle in 1904 in Nebraska and by a son Guy Lester in 1946 in Hughes County SD.
Adelle must have been divorced from Edward Nicolls she married Hiram Cooley in Sept 1920, he either died or they were divorced, she has only her daugther Iva with her by the 1930 census. Edward Nicolls died Aug 8,1941 in Custer South Dakota.
