SENECAVILLE Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lore City, for Robert J. Alt, 75, of Lore City, who died Saturday (Nov. 19, 2005) at his home.The Rev. Fr. Robert Borer will officiate. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Lore City. Graveside services will be by Guernsey County Veterans Service.There are no calling hours.Mr. Alt was born April 12, 1930, in Senecaville, son of the late Stephen and Sophia (Kozar) Alt.Mr. Alt was a 1948 graduate of Senecaville High School, a U.S. Navy veteran and retired from Champion Spark Plug Co. after 37 1/2 years of service. He was a member of Local Union 886.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert and Edward Alt and a sister, Virginia Lackney.He leaves his wife, Pauline (Liptok) Alt, whom he married April 11, 1953; a son, Kevin (Debbie) Alt of Salesville; a daughter, Karen (Gary) Chumney of Lore City; and two granddaughters, Jamie and Traci Alt; several nieces and nephews and in-laws.Memorial contributions may be made to Sts.
