"News of the death at a summer (sic) resort at Mont Eagle, Tenn., of Mrs. Nannie Cotton, 76 years old, was received in Louisville yesterday. The death of Mrs. Cotton followed a brief illness of double pneumonia.
While in Louisville, Mrs. Cotton made her home at the Cortlandt. She has one son, Maurice Cotton of the wholesale tobacco firm of Hale & Cotton. Mr. Cotton is touring in the Berkshires in New York.
Mrs. Cotton was a native of Madisonville. The body will be brought to Louisville today. Funeral arrangements have not been completed."
