Dwight Roam, 74, of Camdenton, formally of Richland, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at St. John's Hospital-Lebanon. He was born June 12, 1932 in Richland to Frank William and Golda Marie Thornsberry Roam, who preceded him in death. On Dec. 24, 1958, he married Winona Hickman, who also preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Don Roam, and a grandson, Rick Schupe. He was the co-owner of Roam Hardware Store in Richland and a member of the St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Camdenton. He is survived by a step son, Jerry Schupe and his wife, Sherry, of Charleston, Ark.; a grandson, Craig Schupe, of Kansas City, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Alice Roam, of Richland; two nephews, Frank Roam and his wife, Carol, of Lebanon, and Kim Roam and his wife, Debbie, of Grain Valley; one niece, Sherry Struckhoff and her husband, Ken, of Richland; several great nieces and nephews; special friends Brian Miller and his wife, Beth, and their four children and other relatives and friends. Services for Dwight Roam will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2006 at the First Baptist Church in Richland with Dr. Mike Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery under the direction of Thieme-Shadel Funeral Service at Colonial Chapel in Richland. Visitation will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday to time of service. Memorials may be made to the Richland First Baptist Church Scholarship Fund.
