Ross Norvell first married Carrie Myers, they became the parents of Ella Marie Norvell . While in the military he met and married Catherine Buese. They were the parents to Glen Lee & Betty Gene Norvell. He and Catherine divorced in 1921, he then returned to Tennessee and remarried Carrie Myers. Glen Lee was adopted by the Beatty family in Ohio, Betty Gene was adopted by the Grant family. Their mother was blind and unable to care for them.
Eurastis "Russ Tuck" Norvell died of injuries he received while employed on a locomotive owned by the B & O Railroad. He passed away the day after the accident due to his injuries.
