Lucile J. (Braun) Schroeder, age 94, peacefully passed away on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015. Lucile was born Jan. 4, 1921, to Ernest and Caroline Braun. Lucile was a graduate from Buhl High School and later married Arnold Herman Schroeder in 1939 at Clover Trinity Lutheran Church. They resided their entire life on a farm and were blessed with five children. She will be remembered by her specialty pies and canning skills; she loved to preserve Grandpa’s produce from his garden. Her enthusiasm for card playing, camping and fishing will always be treasured.

She is survived by her children, Ivan (Diane) Schroeder, Harold (McKenzie) Schroeder, Roger (Lorene) Schroeder, Don (Eileen) Schroeder and Wanda Bowlin. She has 13 surviving grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of Lucile’s life will be held at 2 p.m., on Thursday Aug. 20, 2015 at Clover Trinity Lutheran Church in Buhl. A viewing will be held from 5–7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Chapel in Buhl.

A special thank you to the staff at Shoshone Lincoln County Care Center. They provided exceptional care throughout her stay, and during her final hours.
