• Anna G. Peterson was born Oct. 6, 1855 in Wellby, Westergottland, Sweden and passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. Hannah Anderson, Tuesday, Nov 2, at the age of 82 years and 26 days. She came to this country in 1869. Except for two years spent in Denver, Colo., she has made her home in this community.

• She was married to Adolph Frederick Alexi of Denver on Nov 29, 1888. He preceded her in death in March 1916.

• In 1894 they adopted a daughter, Ruth, who now mourns her mother's passing. She is also mourned by one brother, Andrew Peterson and one sister, Mrs. Hannah Anderson, both of Princeton; one grandson, Forrest DeRose besides nephews and nieces.

NOTES: Ruth's birth parents were William and Sophia C. Freed. Sophia died of consumption, March 22, 1894, aged 23 years, and William died of a heart attack, July 23, 1894, aged 29 years. Ruth was 10 months old, when she was adopted by Mr. & Mrs. Alexi.

Ruth's sister, Dorothy, was 3 years old when her parents passed away. She was adopted by John & Marie Roose.
