Charles Franklin Lindsey , died of a heart attack. Charles had picked up a hitch hiker while on a business trip in Bessemer, Ala. Charles had told the man, that he had picked up about his wife he had back in Mississippi. While Charles was driving with his new found friend he had stop to help out, he had a heart attack, the hitch hiker took the steering wheel and took control. After the death of Charles, the man he had picked up, showed up in Wayne Co., with the new car that belonged to Charles, and gave it my Great Grandma Kizar (Granny) Waller Lindsey. Great Grandma Kizar (granny) and Great Grandpa Charles were separated at the time of his death. This is a story that my daddy told me and his Grandma Kizar (granny) told him.
