Evans Jr., Bart E. "Bud" Age 88, a resident for 54 years of Naperville, died peacefully January 1, 2013 at his home with his family at his side. He was born April 8, 1924 in West Pullman, IL and was raised there. Bud proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy serving in the South Pacific, including the Battle of Iwo Jima. He was a 1950 graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in Finance. He retired after 34 years from Continental Can as a credit manager. He was a founding member of Knox Presbyterian Church of Naperville, IL. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Jean (nee Mardoski) Evans; loving father of Gary of Naperville, IL, Sally Evans of Maplewood, MN and Gail (John) Eyler of Millbrook, NY. Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his parents, Bart and Violet (nee Barriball) Evans Sr. and sister, Violet Mae Van Sickle. Private services were held.
