Leonore H. Aaron, age 100, of Garden Spot Village, New Holland, formerly of New Providence died Friday morning at Ephrata Community Hospital. She was born in West Chester, a daughter of the late Edwin and Ruth Baker Harvey. Earlier in her life she was trained and worked as a seamstress. She then married and worked as a homemaker and farmer's wife. Leonore then last worked at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community as a nurse's aide until her retirement. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, Quarryville where she participated with the women's prayer fellowship and assisted in the kitchen for many church functions. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara A., married to William H. Lyman of New Holland; two sons, William J., married to Lena Blank Aaron of Quarryville, and Frank W., married to Gail Aaron of Bolivia, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; five greatgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Ida Wolfe of Venice, Fla. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ethel Supplee, Amy Gallagher, and Mildred Beck. Funeral services will be held from Memorial United Methodist Church, 109 South Hess Street, Quarryville, Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John Longmire officiating. Interment will follow in Chestnut Level Presbyterian Cemetery. A viewing will take place from 12:00 noon until the time of service at the church Tuesday.
