VERMILION – Edmonia Law, 78, Vermilion, died Tuesday in Lorain Community Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Glasco [sic], Ky., she was a Sandusky-Vermilion resident since 1947.
Surviving are her husband, Samuel W. Sr.; one daughter, Mrs. Sue Hanning, Kettering, Ohio; one son, Thomas Eckler, Burbank, Calif.; one stepson, Samuel Law, Vermilion; eight grandchildren; one brother, Beckam Mathews [sic]; and one sister, Clareen [sic] Mathews [sic].
Memorial services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South St., Vermilion, with the Rev. Lynford West, retired, officiating.
Private burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
