Johnnie Lou Moore, age 84 passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Idabel, OK. She was born on October 5, 1931 in Lamesa, TX, the daughter of Samuel and Lula Mae Bordeaux Daniel.
Johnnie married Burley Moore on May 24, 1948 in Longview, TX. Johnnie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a woman of great faith and she faithfully supported her late husband’s ministry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Burley Moore; infant great-granddaughter, Adaylia Gill; and an infant great-grandson, Aiden Gill; and several brothers and sisters.
Johnnie is survived by her; sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Don Moore and Lila, Johnny Moore and Anne all of Idabel, OK and Randy Moore and Julie of Ft. Worth, TX; daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth Ann Lewis and Earnest of Hope, AR, Brenda Cooper and Robert of Idabel, OK and Avis Bazzill and Ray of Starkville, MS; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, at the Truth Tabernacle Church with Rev. Johnny Cheek and Rev. Derek Hanson officiating. Interment will follow at the Wheelock Cemetery in Millerton, Ok.
