Malcolm Wicks Culpepper, Sr., 77, of Clinton, MS died Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Visitation will occur at First Baptist Church in Clinton beginning on Sunday 8/16/15 from 1 pm to 4 pm and again on Monday from 9 am to 10 am. The service will follow at 10 am with graveside service at Lakewood Cemetery afterward.

Mr. Culpepper was born on February 17, 1938 in Okolona, MS, to the late, Henry Royce and Ruby Jewel Davidson Culpepper. He graduated from Okolona High School, Okolona, MS in 1956. He received his BS degree from Mississippi College in 1960 and later his MBA from Mississippi College in 1973. He was married to his wife of nearly 56 years, Celia Rhodes Cole Culpepper, at Pace United Methodist Church in Pace, MS on June 29, 1958. He was an active member of First Baptist Church in Clinton, MS, where he served as a deacon. He worked at Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol then became an auditor/accountant for the Mississippi Department of Vocational Education before retiring June, 30 2000.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents, brother, Henry Royce Culpepper, Jr.; and sister-in-law, Rebecca Jo "Becky" Clark Culpepper.

He is survived by his son, Malcolm Wicks "Mac" Culpepper, Jr. and his wife, Donna Jo Malone and their children, Macy Grace Culpepper and Joey Noel Culpepper; his daughter, Melea Cole Culpepper Stewart and her husband, Alan Albert Stewart; and their children, Shannon Melea Stewart and Cole Alan Stewart; his daughter, Sally Rhodes Culpepper; his daughter, Melissa Lee "Missa" Culpepper Turman and her husband, Grady O'Neil Turman, Sr. and their children. Grady O'Neil Turman, Jr. and Darby Lee Turman. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Peggie Culpepper of Mt. Juliet, TN, one niece, DeMoyne Kay Culpepper; and three nephews, Henry Royce "Rick" Culpepper, III, Bruce Davidson Culpepper, Matthew Wallace Culpepper, and special friends and caregivers Vina Burkett, Linda Lewis, and Corean Daniels.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to MORA (MS Organ Recovery Agency) or other charity of your choice .
