Mrs. Anna Rhodes, 77, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Providence Health Center in Waco. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Teague. Bro. Scott Matthews will officiate. Interment will follow at 2 p.m., in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. There will be no visitation.

Worked For: the U.S. Government in various jobs for several years; administrative assistant at the V.A. Hospital in Big Spring

Church Affiliation: Lord’s Community Storehouse including currently managing much of the paperwork and administrative duties; First Baptist Church, in the choir, teaching Sunday school, feeding bereaved families, and spent many hours working on the Mockingbird Hill project

Preceded in death by: her husband, Joe Don Rhodes; one son, Rodney Joe Rhodes; and brothers, Tommy Clements and Harvey Clements

Survived by: her daughter, Carrie Thomas and husband, Earl, of Teague; son, Rick Rhodes and wife, Karen, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Bryan Thomas and wife, Ashley, of Lumberton, Ragen Thomas, of Bryan, Nathan Hodges, Sarah Hodges, Hannah Hodges, and Rebecca Hodges, all of Fort Worth; four great-grandchildren; brother, Hubert Clements, of Ira, TX.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
