Myrtle J. Adams 77, of Wallins, Ky. Passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2008 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Ky. Mrs. Adams was born March 2, 1930 in Harlan Co, Ky. She was a homemaker and believed in the Christian Faith.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents; Leland & Candis Johnson Bishop. Two brothers; Floyd Bishop, Billy Bishop. And three sisters; Pauline Bishop, Maggie Johnson.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her four children; Margaret Adams, James Adams, Pete Adams & Candy Shackleford all of Wallins, Ky. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren & 24 Great Grandchildren along with a host of other family & friends.
Funeral service's will be conducted Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home with the Rev. George Maggard Officiating. After the service's Mrs. Adams will be Laid to rest in the Family Cemetery of Platts Fork, Ky.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Adams will be; Richard Barnard, John Barnard, James Adams, Brandon Adams, Jr. David Gregory, & Vick Russell
Visitation will be Friday, January 9, 2009 From 5:00 To 8:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Funeral Home.
