His friends and family called him Bill
William Albert Abner was the husband of Tabetha Clementine McClennen.It has been said he was adopted by the Abner family but that his last name should be Brown.

I have found some information that has his name as William Albert (Hiram) Abner.They also have his parents as Carey Abner and Mary Polly Dixon. I have not been able to verify that information.
