James Lee Williams was born to Clarence and Myrtle Williams. After overcoming polio as a child, Jimmy went on to play football at Monahans High School. While attending West Texas College in Canyon, Texas, Jimmy married Sharalon Marie Hoffman on September 5, 1963. He earned his Master's degree from Texas Tech University. Jimmy coached football and taught at several schools in Texas, such as Eagle Pass, Brady, San Antonio, and Dumas. While at Brady High School, Jimmy also served as Vice-Principal for a period of time. He is survived by his father, his wife, and two children, Shon Michael Williams and wife Cindy of Dumas, and Shelle Myree Williams Chamblee and husband Waylon of Cedar Creek. Jimmy has 5 grandchildren: Andrew James Williams, Sloan Williams, Curtis James Chamblee, Jamye Chamblee, and Braden Chamblee. His passing has left a great void in the lives of those who loved him.
