Carl Robert Childers went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 8, 2014. Carl was born on October 28, 1929 in Lubbock, TX to Robert and Mamie Childers. Carl is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 54 years Bobbie Jean Childers. Carl is survived by his 4 children; Karen Altstatt and husband Bobby, Walter Childers and wife Samantha, Earl Childers, and Rebecca Levrets and husband Brian. Carl is also survived by 6 grandchildren; Angie Childers, Brad Dinwiddie, Matt and Andrea Childers, Kristi Altstatt, Dillon Dinwiddie, and Brooke Altstatt.. Viewing for Carl will be held at Ford Funeral Service, Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 9:00am – 8:00pm. A service for Carl will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 7301 S. Walker, OKC, OK 73139.
